They’re all tragedies in taffeta. Dump them, burn them or turn them on their heads.
We spend maybe a third of our lives ‘working’ – that is, doing stuff which brings us money to carry on living. Isn’t it a shame to not enjoy those precious weeks, months and years?

It’s simple to say: ‘If you’re not enjoying doing what you’re doing… do something else!’ Not so easy to do in practice.
Ah yes, but that’s just another excuse, you see? ‘It’s not so easy to do in practice, waahhh waahhh, waahhh, poor me, terrible everyone else…’
What is ‘easy’ to do in practice? Lead a frustrating, uncreative, unrewarding, mind-numbing life between train journeys and tantrums and tiredness? If that’s the ‘easy’ option you’re choosing, well, you’re welcome to it!
The point is, your brain – i.e. YOU – is capable of truly wonderful things. It’s crying out – isn’t it? – for you to challenge it to grow and produce and impress. Stop insulting its limitless capabilities and start being amazing like you should be.
If you don’t think you’re being paid what you’re worth, either they don’t realise how good you are, or you’re not worth paying any more. In either case, something needs to be done if you want your situation to change.
Find people who do realise how good you are (you’ll have to prove it) or become worth paying more for what you’re doing now (you’ll have to improve it).
Personal Creativity Sabism No.13 talks about creating challenges for ourselves in life which lead, ultimately, to us actually creating… ourselves. What a wonderful way of looking at things!
