All the products we’ll be using and projects we’ll be working on and successes we’ll be celebrating in 10 years’ time are as yet but latent, unimagined options, waiting to be light-bulbed into being.
Some people think the future does exist, of course, in a predetermined / already-been-there / got-the-T-shirt / sorry-about-that kind of way, but we don’t need to concern ourselves with them here.

For us positive forward-thinkers, the world is our oyster and there’s everything to play for because anything is possible.
It seems self-evident that we create our own lives and realities on a day-to-day basis through the choices we make. Yet many people don’t bother exploiting this incredible optional extra that’s included in the whole existence package thing.
One of the easiest ways of believing in the power of positive action is simply to put it into practice.
Before I go to sleep I’ll start imagining what I’ll literally bring into existence the following day. This generally relates to a project I’m working on or something I want to develop.
The ideas will come and the seeds will be sown, along with the anticipation and excitement of creating something new which will marinate during the night.
In the morning I’ll take the first step towards whatever it is and hey presto, things will start to move.
Yesterday I imagined what form the web site for my new English Teaching Association would take. Today I have bought the domain name, set up the account and produce the first draft of the logo. And that’s only the beginning.
Voilà, the future, invented by me. What’s in your crystal ball?
