Sabisms 2 ~ ‘Scary Ideas’
I’ve had my fair share of ‘scary’ ideas and, funnily enough, even after all these years… they Keep On Coming! Even funnierly enough, my brain never seems to see them as ‘scary’, although plenty of other people seem to. Thanks brain!
Most ideas are a bit scary,
and if an idea isn’t scary,
it’s not really an idea at all.

It’s the 3rd of January, 2016 as I imagine and type these words. I have no idea what I’m going to write over the next few lines, nor what will come along, but I know two things already: they will be about creativity and they will be unexpected. I know my brain well enough by now to expect at least that!
If I stop typing now or, worse, hadn’t even started – hadn’t committed to churn out ‘stuff’ first thing every morning for these 366 days – then these as-yet non-existent ideas would remain just that: unthought, undeveloped, unshared; uninspiring, unuseful, unloved.
I don’t know about you, but I’d find that rather… unfortunate.
To paraphrase someone famous and wise (Mahatma Gandhi?), Your thoughts become your ideas; your ideas become your words; your words become your actions; your actions become your results.
Hey, that sounds like a future Sabism! Wow, didn’t see that one coming, but then you never do, you see?
